Pro Formula Mazda Race Car Overview

The Pro Formula Mazda is a high-tech open-wheel car with carbon fiber chassis, fully-adjustable suspension and 6-speed no-lift-shift sequential gearbox. All cars were upgraded at the start of the 2009 season with improved aerodynamics, suspension, brakes and engine.

Chassis

  • Carbon fiber composite built to FIA standards. Three manufacturers have built chassis, the most recent being Crawford Composites.
  • Headrest/side head restraint, compatible with HANS device. Built to FIA standards.

  • 100 octane racing fuel supplied by VP fuels
